Description
A rich land of waterways, plains and dense bush, Botswana is one of the few untouched wilderness areas remaining in Africa today. This fly-in safari offers superb game viewing, hassle free transportation and luxurious accommodation in spectacular surroundings.

MEAL PLAN → Full breakfast, lunch and dinner on safari plus soft and alcoholic drinks (except Premium brands) are included; breakfast in Livingstone.

ACCOMMODATION → Five star lodges are used throughout. Please note the itinerary may operate in a different order or alternative accommodation used according to local conditions and availability. All Park fees and laundry are also included.

TRAVEL TIPS → Botswana is a malaria risk area – please consult your GP before travelling. Pack a mixture of warm and light clothing, sun cream, hat, camera, binoculars and insect repellent. Maximum luggage allowance of 20kgs in soft bags applies – extra luggage can be left in Johannesburg airport.

NB → Minimum age 9 years.

DAY 1 → South African Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg.

DAY 2 → On arrival connect with your Air Botswana flight to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango, from where you take a light aircraft flight to Stanley’s Camp, your home for two nights. Set under ebony and sausage trees this classic camp of just eight tents is amidst a 260,000 acre private concession. Each tent has hand crafted wooden furniture, en suite bathrooms and is on a raised deck with private terrace overlooking the bush. The main building has an intimate atmosphere and game viewing here is amongst the best in the Delta with game drives by day and night, plus viewing by mokoro canoe or on foot.

DAY 4 → After a hearty breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your 20 minute light aircraft flight to Chief’s Camp. Located in the Mombo concession of the Moremi Game Reserve, the camp enjoys excellent game viewing year round. Twelve luxury tents are elegantly furnished with light canvas and local decorations, along with en suite bathroom and a private terrace. The main lodge features a bar, shop, library and outside decking along with a beautiful pool on the lower level. Spend two nights here enjoying the unique atmosphere of the Delta and the wealth of game by either canoe or 4x4 vehicle.

DAY 6 → This morning fly to Kasane airport where you transfer to Chobe Chilwero Lodge for your final two nights. On the National Park border, the exquisite Chobe Chilwero enjoys unequalled views of the flood plains, islands and as far as Namibia. The 15 cottages are individually designed each with airconditioning, fan and mosquito nets. The bathrooms offer a large freestanding bath, indoor and outdoor showers, while the main lodge houses a lounge, restaurant, viewing decks, spa and swimming pool. Game drives, sundowners on the river and the high standards of the lodge make this the perfect conclusion to your Botswana adventure.

DAY 8 → Return to Kasane and then transfer across the border to Livingstone for your South African Airways flight to Heathrow via Johannesburg.

DAY 8 → After crossing to Livingstone, stay three nights at the Royal Livingstone hotel, superbly located on the banks of the Zambezi just upstream of the thunderous Victoria Falls.

DAY 11 → South African Airways overnight flight to Heathrow via Johannesburg.
