DAY 1 - LONDON TO CAPE TOWN
South African Airways overnight flight from Heathrow to Cape Town.
DAY 2 - CAPE TOWN
Arrive in Cape Town and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy time at leisure to explore Cape Town at your own pace. Spend two nights at The Ritz Hotel (Three star option) Strand Tower Hotel in a Standard room (Four star option) or Cape Cadogan in a Standard room (Five star option), (approx. 30 miles).
DAY 4 - CAPE TOWN TO STELLENBOSCH
This morning your Europcar Group B car will be delivered to your hotel. Leave Cape Town and drive approx. 45 minutes to charming Stellenbosch in the Winelands. Stay one night at the River Manor (Three star), River Manor Boutique Hotel & Spa in a Standard room (Four star) or the Lanzerac Hotel & Spa in a Classic room (Five star).
DAY 5 - STELLENBOSCH TO OUDSTHOORN
Travel along the scenic Route 62 for approx. five hours to the ostrich capital of Oudtshoorn. Spend the night at the Oudtshoorn Hotel & Resort (Three star), Hlangana Lodge in a Standard room (Four star) or Rosenhof Country House in a Standard room (Five star), (approx. 240 miles).
DAY 6 - OUDSTHOORN TO KNYSNA OR PLETTENBERG
Journey over the Outeniqua Pass to George. Continue along the coast to the lagoon town of Knysna. Depending on your preference, remain in Knysna or continue along the coast to Plettenberg Bay. Spend the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the area. In Knysna, choose to stay for three nights at the Graywood Hotel (Three star), at Protea Hotel Knysna Quays in a Standard non-lagoon facing room (Four star) or St James Hotel (Five star), or in Plettenberg Bay spend three nights at the Periwinkle Lodge (Three star), Hog Hollow Country Lodge in a Standard suite (Four star) or The Plettenberg in a Standard room (Five star), (approx. 90 miles).
DAY 7 - KNYSNA
Spend the next two days at leisure to explore the area at your own pace.
DAY 9 - KNYSNA OR PLETTENBERG TO PORT ELIZABETH
Leave Knysna or Plettenberg Bay and drive approx. three hours to Port Elizabeth, spending the remainder of the day at leisure. Stay one night at the Summerstrand Hotel (Three star) or The Paxton in a Standard room (Four & Five star), (approx. 150 miles).
DAY 10 - PORT ELIZABETH TO MPUMALANGA OR LIMPOPO
This morning make your way to Port Elizabeth Airport. Drop off your rental vehicle and fly South African Airways to Johannesburg and connect with your onward flight to either Mpumalanga for two nights at Nkambeni Tented Camp (Three star), Kwa Madwala Manyatta Camp in a Standard room (Four star), or Hoedspruit and two nights at Thornybush Main Lodge in a Standard suite (Five star), (approx. 12 or 50 miles).
DAY 11 - MPUMALANGA OR LIMPOPO
Spend the day enjoying the various game activities on offer. Enjoy one included game drive at Nkambeni Tented Camp or Kwa Madwala and two included game drives at Thornybush.
DAY 12 - MPUMALANGA OR LIMPOPO TO LONDON
Return to Mpumalanga or Hoedspruit Airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onwards with South African Airways to Heathrow, arriving the following day.
