7 days Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli Safari
Day 1 Nairobi: Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will transfer to the New Stanley Hotel in Nairobi where you will spend the night , with your Safari starting the next morning. Depending on your arrival time you can explore Nairobi on your own, or we can guide you through this burstling city.
Day 2 Maasai Mara National Reserve: After breakfast you will depart from Nairobi for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will overnight at a safari camp/lodge for two nights where you will be staying on a full board basis. Lunch is served on your arrival, followed by an afternoon game drive through the reserve. Return for dinner at the camp/lodge and relax in comfort.
Day 3 Masai Mara National Reserve:
You will be woken up early for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara and then an afternoon game drive will follow. At certain times of the year the park is the scene of the Wildebeest Migration - and timing your safari accordingly might mean that you are witness to this great wildlife spectacle.
Day 4 Lake Nakuru National Park: After breakfast you’ll be driven to Lake Nakuru in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge followed by an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a soda lake and is home to the Greater and Lesser Flamingos. At times you may see a lion crawling on the waters edge, or if you are a bird lover you may be spotting different species.
Day 5 Amboseli National Park: Spend the day travelling towards Amboseli stopping off for lunch and game viewing on the way. You will stay overnight at a safari camp/lodge on a full board basis. Amboseli is famous for its unforgettable views of Kilimanjaro, and a relaxed abundant population of elephants.
Day 6 Amboseli National Park: Enjoy breakfast and spend the day viewing game while Mount Kilimanjaro lies in the background.
Day 7 Amboseli - Nairobi: Departure in the morning for Nairobi for your onward travel arrangements
8 Days Aberdares, Samburu, sweet waters, Lake Nakuru and Maasai Mara safari
Day 1: Nairobi - Aberdares
Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to the Aberdares Country Club. Passing through the industrial town of Thika and the intensely cultivated farms of the central Kenya. Lunch at the base hotel before being transferred to a Tree hotel for dinner and overnight stay. A special feature of the lodge where we stay is the floodlit watering hole where we can watch from the lodge itself throughout the night as a great variety of animals come down to drink.
Day 2: Samburu Game reserve
After breakfast depart for Samburu passing through hush farmlands, cross the Equator where you can stop for pictures. Proceed to Samburu to a rugged semi desert region. It is noted for game not found to the more lush parks to the south e.g. unusual reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, Oryx and many more. Lunch at a lodge followed by afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight at a lodge
Day 3: Samburu Game reserve
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drive. (Optional visit to Samburu villages). Meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 4: Samburu - Sweetwaters game reserve
Break fast then view game as we exit the park and drive to Mount Kenya Region. Lunch at a Sweetwaters tented camp then proceed for afternoon game drives at Sweetwaters sanctuary. Dinner and overnight at the Sweet waters Tented camp
Day 5: Mt. Kenya - Lake Nakuru National park
Breakfast then depart the lodge for Lake Nakuru National park arriving in good time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Full afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at a lodge inside the park
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National park - Maasai Mara.
Breakfast then view game as we exit the park and drive to via the Great Rift Valley to arrive at Maasai Mara in time for lunch at a Lodge. Full afternoon game drive till dusk when we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Maasai Mara
Full day exploring the park in search of the Big 5.Early morning and late afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at a lodge.
Day 8 : Maasai Mara - Nairobi
Heading north to Narok, we stop to browse in the bustling, vibrant Maasai markets to buy curios and handicrafts before continuing to Nairobi where our safari ends
